Bill (Don Diamont) may want to see if he can get his Valentine's Day gifts for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) refunded after he learns her news about being engaged on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Bill Schemes To Win Back Brooke

Until now, Bill had every confidence he would be able to win Brooke back, especially after planning out the perfect Valentine's Day for her, but in a preview clip for the Friday, Feb. 14 episode, she will break his heart by revealing that she accepted Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) proposal.

"I'm engaged. Ridge and I are getting married," she said to Bill in the clip, whose face fell at the news.

Brooke Says Yes To Ridge's Marriage Proposal

However, Bill will quickly find his competitive nature once again rising to the surface, as he tries to convince Brooke that marrying Ridge again is a bad idea.

"Why do you trick yourself into believing it's going to be any different? Why can't you see him for who he really is?" Bill asked her.

Bill is not the only one who is crest-fallen by the news of Ridge and Brooke's engagement. His ex-wife, Katie (Heather Tom), who had begun developing feelings for Ridge, will also find her heart breaking at the news.

Though Bill is heartbroken, he is also doubtful that the new marriage will last. However, he isn't the only one. Ridge's brother (and Brooke's son) Rick (Jacob Young), is also doubtful because he doesn't trust Ridge.

"I'll always believe in your destiny as long as she needs me to," he said to Ridge.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
