Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie recently sat down with MTV News to discuss season 4 of the popular fantasy series.

Spoilers for Joffrey-Margaery Wedding, New Character & Dany's Dragons

Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones, did not say much specifically about her character and where she's headed, but she did offer a brief teaser.

"In season 4 ... Brienne continues on her journey, which is filled with people that you would never expect," Christie explained. "She continues to find herself in situations that you could never predict with people that she wouldn't necessarily choose to be with."

Another Deathly Wedding & Jon Snow vs. the Wildlings in Season 4?

Most intriguingly, she concluded that Brienne is "ultimately tested with great, great hardship."

Brienne has already been through a lot of hardship since her introduction in season 2. She led Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) on a journey to King's Landing and has dealt with the loss of her masters, Renly Baratheon (Gethin Anthony) and Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley).

In other Game of Thrones spoiler news, actress Maisie Williams (who plays Arya) spoke with E! Online about what to expect from her character.

"Arya's really changing this year and I'm not sure people are going to like who she's becoming," Williams revealed. "She's turning a lot darker and she's not quite as fun as she used to be... It's a different Arya than we've seen before."
