The titles of the first four episodes of Game of Thrones season 4 have been released, with some of them revealing key plot developments for those who have read the books.

Game of Thrones Spoilers: Death and a Darker Daenerys

HBO released the titles of the first four episodes of the upcoming season this week, each of them suggesting big plot points that will occur surprisingly early on in the season.

The premiere episode is titled Two Swords, which is relatively vague considering the number of swords present in the show, but one of the two swords referred to in the title could be connected to the title of episode 4.

The Lion and the Rose is the title for the second episode of the season, and there will likely be many huge moments contained in the episode. The title likely refers to Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery (Natalie Dormer), and book readers know the big moment that occurs at their wedding, which could happen in this episode. Episode 3 is titled Breaker of Chains, and while this is perhaps the most vague title of the first four episodes, it could easily be pertained to Daenerys Tagaryen (Emilia Clarke) and her quest to free the slaves of Essos and assemble an army.

Finally, episode 4 is titled Oathkeeper and may refer back to the premiere episode. Oathkeeper is almost certainly a reference to a certain sword in the Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) plot line.

Game of Thrones season 4 premieres Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
