All 12 new celebrities competed for the first time on Dancing With the Stars Monday night, potentially showing which ones will last through season 18 and which will be among the first eliminated.

Olympic ice dancers Charlie White and Meryl Davis received high scores with their respective partners Sharna Burgess and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and might be in the competition for a while assuming the public votes for them.

Similarly, former TV stars Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar did very well in their first dances with Mark Ballas and Val Chmerkovskiy, respectively.

However, a few stars did not do well by the judges' standards on Monday night's premiere, and might be in danger of being eliminated within the next few weeks.

Billy Dee Williams received the lowest score of the night with partner Emma Slater, only scoring 15 out of 30. The Star Wars actor was criticized by judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, who all said that they wanted more from him.

Long distance swimmer Diana Nyad did not have a very good night either. Nyad, who is paired with Henry Byalikov, only scored an 18 out of 30, making her the second-lowest scoring celebrity of the premiere.

Former NHL athlete Sean Avery was also weaker in relation to his competition. Avery and partner Karina Smirnoff scored 20 out of 30, the third-lowest score of the evening.

The first couple will be eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on Monday, March 24.

Dancing With the Stars season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
