When Dennis Abbot (Rockmond Dunbar) and his team pair up with the FBI's art squad undercover to take down a ring of murderous art thieves, Agent Lisbon (Robin Tunney) will head undercover with Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) while meeting up with her new love interest.

Special Agent Marcus Pike (Pedro Pascal) has been described by TV Line as a "charming man with integrity, a blue collar cop with FBI smarts," and his charm will be focused on Lisbon from the word 'go.'

Cast Weighs In On Possible 'Mentalist' Cancellation, Should Series End Without Jisbon

"It's definitely the kind of situation where she steps into a room and I'm like, 'Who is that?!' And it progresses from there. He definitely sees what he wants and goes after it," Pascal told TV Line. "I think he really catches her off guard, and that works to his advantage. He's very smitten with her and she deserves the attention. Whether she's interested or not, that is a good start to draw her in."
