‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers 2014: Katie’s Fears About Ridge Resurface When He Begins Working With Brooke? [VIDEO]
Despite knowing it was a risky move from the beginning, Katie (Heather Tom) will find herself worrying about her new relationship with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) when he returns to work at Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.
After finally consummating their relationship, reality is beginning to sink in for the couple when Ridge has to head to the office -- where he will not only face opposition from his family members who adore Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), but his ex-wife herself. The reality of what he may face at the office might be too much for Katie. In a preview clip for the Tuesday, April 1 episode, Ridge will try to calm her down by reminding her that he has chosen to be with her and nothing can change that.
"I'm exactly where I want to be," he says. "She's my past. She's going to have to accept that."
Ridge 'Will Never Be Satisfied'?
His reassurances appear to work, because after he leaves and Katie receives a visit from Donna (Jennifer Gareis), she seems to feel secure about the relationship once more.
"He's important to me. He trusts me, he respects me, and god that feels so good," she says.
However, work could prove to be tricky for Ridge once he gets there, as his father, Eric (John McCook) may be siding with Brooke this time, and appears to be very concerned with how she feels about everything.
Despite still feeling heartbroken and betrayed, Brooke will assure Eric that she will be okay for a while because she has decided to be alone.
"I don't need a man to be happy and I should have figured that out a long time ago," she says.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
