With the premiere for the first half of the final season of Mad Men only a little more than a week away, fans are antsy to learn all that will happen. What does this season have in store for Don Draper? Enstars is here with the latest details.
Reportedly, actor Jon Hamm's main character Don Draper will experience many life changing circumstances in the seventh and final season. According to Carter Matt on April 2, Draper was released from his firm last season due to behavioral issues, and had to come to terms with any character flaws by making "a more personal connection" at home.
Apparently, his issues all began to unravel when his daughter caught him with his downstairs neighbor Sylvia, whose husband is Dr. Arnold Rosen, and with whom Draper is supposed to be friends. This incident leads Draper to realize that "he had created his own monster," once again. Show creator Matthew Weiner revealed during an Arpil 1 interview with TV Guide that this upcoming season is all about the repercussions of last season.

"I think it's always hard for [viewers] that I just [continue] the story whenever I want to. What are the things that you do that you can't undo? Don was caught by his daughter in an affair," which Sylvia ended. Additionally, Weiner noted that he does not "think Draper even cared about that affair until Sylvia ended it."
