The death of Tom's (Ryan Eggold) alleged brother seems to have the spy on high alert, and Liz's (Mean Boone) husband will head for the hills during "The Pavlovich Brothers." Despite Tom's (Ryan Eggold) duplicity, Liz (Megan Boone) will be rather distraught that her husband has disappeared without a trace.

"I loved him," Boone can be heard telling Red in a preview for "The Pavlovich Brothers." "I was excited to have a child with him."

It looks like Tom played his cover - and his mark - with exceptional skill. However, he probably won't anticipate what move Liz will make next. According to TV Guide, the jilted wife will disclose Tom's true nature to the FBI. Fortunately, Tom's absence will help reveal new clues about his larger end game.

However, Eggold has cautioned fans that nothing is ever quite what it seems on The Blacklist.

"It's a lot of fun to play against the expectations for the character and play with the subtext," Eggold explained to Us. "Now, we're getting into this cat and mouse chase, so you get to play with saying one thing and meaning another and finding those lines in between. The great thing about this show is I don't think they will ever be like, 'That's him. He's done.' The writers have so much web to spin. There's a lot of evolution."
