Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) is back from being buried alive (by her mother!) in the hit teen mystery thriller Pretty Little Liars.  But how will her return affect the other Liars in Season 5?

Showrunner Marlene King told Zap2it in March that summer's Season 5 will really reboot the show. "There are five Pretty Little Liars again, and it's such a fresh breath of air that's been bombarded into the show having Sasha back," King said. She added, that it will change "her relationships with the girls individually and with the group as a dynamic and with the parents too."

Alison, after all, doesn't have the best reputation - dead or alive.

"She was a villainess in this town and it's going to be interesting to see if she can come home and shift that dynamic," King said. "Is she real or is she not? Is she genuine or is this all a lie?"

The other Liars are not sure.

Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings, said Spencer will have a hard time adjusting to Ali being back in town. "I think the interesting thing about all of this is when you look back... Alison was not a calming, soothing best friend," she told Zap2it. "It became a lot easier when she went away for the girls to have relationships, for them to feel confident in themselves and for them to live their lives. Now that she's back it's really going to throw a wrench in those works, especially for Spencer because she is highly competitive with Alison and it's going to put her back in a very insecure place."

She's not the only one who's feeling insecure. Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin, said, "I think she's going to feel a little intimidated by Ali... I don't know if it's going to be a good thing or a bad thing... She bullied her!" But maybe Hanna won't stand for it anymore?

Pieterse herself thinks it's a weird thing for anyone to come back from the dead - especially after two burial ceremonies! It's going to be really "strange for the people that she blackmailed. I think the town's going to freak out."

Still, no one knows how Alison's really going to act. Perhaps it takes a fake death (at least in Rosewood) to really transform a person. Alison's apparently not the mean-spirited vixen she used to be.

The summer season will kick off right where Season 4 left off, according to Thursday's CelebDirtyLaundry.

Meanwhile, there is news about Spencer's boyfriend Caleb... he's back! At PaleyFest it was revealed that the upcoming 100thepisode will be the one that Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) returns to Rosewood from his canceled spin-off Ravenswood. He may even bring a few friends. King told Zap2It, "We've certainly talked about it. The [Ravenswood] kids are all fantastic and they have become good friends with Caleb, so it's certainly possible that they would come into his life when he returns to Rosewood." King continued that she hoped to wrap up some of the Ravenswood storylines during Pretty Little Liars to give them closure. "We didn't have much of a chance to get that story told, but we'll find some closure there."

Pretty Little Liars returns to ABC Family on June 10.
