Kim Kardashian might have millions of fans but it might be safe to say President Barack Obama isn't one of them.

Kim Quitting 'KUWTK' Because of Kanye?

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was said to be "disappointed" after she didn't get a chance to meet the President after the Steven Spielberg USC Shoah Foundation gala. Obama was there to accept the Ambassador For Humanity award. Kardashian was there as well and attempted to use the opportunity to shake hands with the Commander-in-Chief. But she was quickly shut down.

An insider told Radar Online, "Kim's table wasn't close to President Obama's. [But she] enlisted one of her minions to scout out the opportunity to meet him. Obama's table and surrounding area was swarming with Secret Service, and security was very tight. Kim's lackey was told to go pound sand, and it was conveyed to Kim that she wouldn't be able to meet him."

The same source added that while Kardashian was "disappointed" she couldn't meet the President, they took a turn and revealed she and Kanye West consider themselves even more famous than President Obama and First Lady, Michelle.

"She didn't understand why she couldn't just say hello to him. Ever since landing the Vogue cover, her ego is even more out of control."

This isn't the first time President Obama shut down Kardashian's attempts to get close to the first family. According to the site, he denied her offer to help out with his second race for President and apparently they "wanted nothing to do with her."
