The Amazing Race All-Stars finale is looking to not only be one which wows with the spectacular sights of Las Vegas, but one which will shock both the teams and the fans.

Brenchel 'Getting The Boot' From The Competition?

It was reported earlier that the finale would include a magical illusion task set up by Master Illusionist David Copperfield, but in a new preview clip for the finale episode, that very task could prove to go horribly wrong.

The task, which appears to involve one member of each team being locked in a wooden crate that is lit on fire and carried by crane to a pile of burning sticks, where they will be dropped if they can't unlock themselves from the crate in time, appears to become extremely dangerous for Dave and Connor.

Dave and Connor 'Need Luck' To Win?

The stunt, which the preview touts as having never been attempted, will be done by Connor, as his father looks on and moans with worry.

"Oh come on Connor, pick the lock, pick the lock," Dave says in the clip as he stands next to Copperfield and watches Connor on a monitor.

It appears Connor does not unlock the box in time, as the crate is then dropped -- but Connor doesn't reappear.

"Where is he?" Dave worriedly asks.

"We have to get the fire department," Copperfield replies as the clip fades out to the sound of sirens arriving on the scene, with Dave then crying out, "Oh my god!"

Though his son certainly won't die doing the stunt (he has been active on his Twitter account since returning from filming), he could potentially suffer from some injury.

However, even if he does, he and his father were reported to have won the race this season, so it won't be one which knocks them out of the competition during the final leg.

The Amazing Race airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on CBS. Watch the finale preview below.
