Taylour Paige is not your average 23-year-old girl. While others are attending their graduation ceremony, Paige is gearing up to usher in the second season of VH1's biggest original show—Hit the Floor—while doing all she can to inject positivity into her growing celebrity.

Find Out More About What To Expect for Season 2 of Hit the Floor!

In our latest Enstars Exclusive, the "it girl" on the rise revealed what to expect from her character, Ahsha Hayes, in the new season of Hit The Floor, dating in the public eye and how she deals with her newfound celebrity. Enstars warning—after reading this piece, you may end up loving her more than you already do.

Two years ago, Paige was graduating from Loyola Marymount University. While she starred in a few ad campaigns and had a short-lived stint as one of the Laker Girls, she knew that was ready to take next step in her career. Luckily, months before she walked across the stage, her agent called her about auditioning for a new series based on girls who danced for an NBA organization. To say the stars aligned in her favor, would be an understatement.

"It was all so crazy!" Paige excitedly said of that call from her agent. "I'd done my share of commercials, and done my share of being in musicals and plays with Debbie Allen, but this was the way that the world would be seeing me for the first time."

Paige landed the lead role of Ahsha, who in season 1 of Hit The Floor, was an innocent dance-team rookie with a lot to learn about the ins and outs of being a Devil Girl. But, Paige revealed that, "This season, you are going to see her come out of her shell and have a backbone to stand up for what she believes in, and why she deserves to be on this team." She jokingly added, "Even when Jelena (Logan Browning) is being a rude girl."

Though she and Browning are rivals on screen, they are actually great friends when the camera stops rolling. Fans who follow the talented bunch on social media often see posts of what happens on set-- selfies and un-choreographed dancing included.

Paige described the cast as her "family", adding their constant rehearsals and commitment to the projects' success is the reason why they are all so close. "We give it all we have... We all know that this is the start of our careers," she said.

Their on and off screen chemistry propelled the first season of their show into the top spots of cable summer ratings. According to TV By the Numbers, "Hit The Floor is currently the highest rated new summer scripted cable series for Adults 18-49... and has attracted an average of 1.9 million total viewers."

With the show taking off in the manner it did, Paige slowly but surely began to build her own fan base. To date, she has over 140,000 followers on Instagram and a strong media presence on all platforms. But instead of calling the paparazzi to catch her when she steps out of the club, she is committed to using her newfound celebrity powers for good.

Of course, with any amount of public attention comes a dose negativity. Most of her followers reflect the same amount of positive energy she spreads, but she admits that some have a problem with her interracial relationship (Yes, you read that right and yes, it is 2014).

Still, she knows that she would not be sharing her truth if she edited her posts based on certain "fan" opinion. "I go back and forth about posting about my boyfriend, but then I think... If I get hit by a bus tomorrow, nobody is going to question who I loved."

At the end of the day, Paige is a multi-talented star, who decided a long time ago that she was not going to live her life by the rules of today's celebrity standards. Her refreshing perspective and gorgeous looks set her a part from the fray, and according to her, this is not an act.

"I want to use that as a platform to inspire people," she said. "I would like to think that people wouldn't make me out to be a hoity-toity, rude girl that was on a show, who just took everyone and everything for granted... I don't know when I am going to go, but at least while I'm here, I made an impact with what I had."

Hit the Floor returns to VH1 on May 26th at 9/8c. Watch the extended trailer, below.
