Lifetime's eerie drama Witches of East End unleashed a new trailer that delves into more sinister twists and possible answers to mysterious questions.

New Character Coming To Season 2?

The trailer that was published on the series' Facebook page on Tuesday starts off with a shot of a hidden figure in a coat standing in a doorway as emotional facial expressions are seen from the characters. Voices start to flow, revealing how they either don't have a choice or that they have a "bad feeling."

The figure in the hood gives off the impression as a character from the past based on the teaser's tagline: "Past secrets always come knocking." This leads into a ferocious knock on the door as clips of blood and chains in teeth are spotted.

Season 2 Will Have More Sexy Moments?

The promo shows more details, including people covered up in blood as well as the mysterious person at the door removing his hood and saying, "Mom."

Joanna is then at a table saying it was all her fault.

At this point, other morbid shots are seen, including guns, fights, crawling creatures and tying up. There also appears to be a sensual moment between two women.

There was a recent report from E! News that a new character named Alex was supposed to make an appearance; she will apparently be knowledgeable about weapons and will likely be the one to watch out for.

"Not only is Alex ridiculously beautiful, confident, and intelligent - she also has a dark side," the site wrote.

Witches of East End is expected to premiere on July 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
