Norris recently spoke with TVGuide.com and revealed what was ahead for Big Jim, and things do not look good for the troubled character.

"There are moments where Big Jim maybe sees ghosts," Norris says in the report. "While it's a terrifying situation, it's also funny to see Big Jim have to squirm with these kind of ghosts of Christmas past and the future and have to deal with them."

Big Jim Caught Between Julia & New Woman In Season 2?

One of these ghosts may be his presumed dead wife Pauline (guest star Sherry Stringfield), who will be showing up in the upcoming season. Enstars previously reported the introduction of Pauline in the new season. It isn't clear if Pauline has actually been alive this whole time or if Big Jim is being haunted by her ghost.

Big Jim will also be dealing with problems in the living world in Season 2. He is seen in the promo video for the upcoming season surrounded by the citizens of Chester's Mill, who have all seemingly collapsed.

He is also expected to have conflict with some new characters, including a schoolteacher named Rebecca (Karla Crome) as well as his brother-in-law Sam, a former EMT. Country music star Dwight Yoakam will also guest star in the new season as a barber with a complicated history with Big Jim.

Under the Dome Season 2 premieres Monday, June 30 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
