At a special screening of Ray Donovan on May 28, Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight spoke about their relationship as father and son on the show and how things might change in season 2.

Situation Gets 'Hairy For Everybody' As 'Secrets Start To Come Out'?

At the event Voight was mock-cosying up to Schreiber at which point an interviewer from Access Hollywood asked if the two would be getting closer in the next season. Schreiber suggested that they would always have "proximity issues" but fans will get to see them get a "little closer" this time around. He also added that the Donovans were generally a "touchy-feely" bunch so there is some affection there. But Voight suggested that the they always needed to keep a little bit of "danger" in the equation so they weren't going to be getting closer just yet.

The recently released preview for the show didn't give to much away.

The clip shows Ray (Liev Schreiber) swamped with more than just client cases, getting calls from everyone in trouble, including his own daughter who has been accused of carrying marijuana. The scenes are evocative of hilarity, and abandons the usually grave tone Ray Donovan teaser shown.

The second season will premiere on July 13.

Ray Donovan will air on Sundaya at 9 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
