As the release of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is around the corner, new and exciting details about the movie are coming to the fore.

New TV Spot Feat. First Good Look At Hound, Drift and Crosshairs?

Here's a great treat for fans, Skrillex is going to be constructing the soundscape for the movie and the musician spoke to Billboard about his inputs in a May 30 interview.

He spoke about how he was responsible for "creating "the craziest Skrillex sounds I could ever make."

Red Carpet Premiere Date In New York Revealed?  

The most recent development on the music front relating to the film had to do with Imagine Dragons working on the the theme song of the film called Battle Cry. Imagine Dragons is scheduled for release on June 2. The band composed the brand new track for the film.

"No one can save you now. The king is down. It's do or die," go the lyrics.

'Recruiting Dinobots' Isn't Easy, 'Optimus Prime Has To Convince Them To Come On Board'? 

It seems like the band is alluding to Optimus Prime when suggesting that the "the king" is down.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction footage, which was revealed by Universal in Las Vegas on March 24, hinted at Prime's death.

The 15 minute clip stitched up a bunch of highlights and plot twists of the film. One of the most dramatic scenes that is being reported is that of a severly injured Optimus Prime and Cade Yeager's (Mark Wahlberg) daughter, Tessa (Nicola Peltz) being kidnapped. Both these scenes seem to hint at and corroborate rumors surrounding the film. It had been suggested that Optimus Prime might die in the fourth installment of the action thriller.

Jack Reynor is the male lead of the film and will be playing a race car driver. Peltz acts as Reynor's girlfriend and Wahlberg will portray Flynn Vincent, Peltz's dad, whose alter ego is Cade Yaeger. Kelsey Grammer will be playing the role of Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence agent who is the main antagonist in the film.  

Transformers: Age of Extinction will release on Jun. 27 2014.
