After a whirlwind promotional tour, Mahone recently took to his Twitter writing, "I miss being a kid. No one cared how you dressed, we were all friends, and you could be yourself.."

Many would consider Mahone still a kid himself, but with his crazy workload, even teen pop stars get down sometimes.

Why Austin Mahone Had To Cancel His Tour

One person who would understand Mahone's plight is Justin Bieber. The two were even seen together recently at a recording studio, but unfortunately for fans, that song isn't on Mahone's new album. So, will Mahomies and Beliebers hear the track?

"Right now, I'm not sure," Mahone told E! News. "We recorded a track together but I'm not sure if that'll come out at all. But if it does, that'll be next year. We worked well in the studio."

They sure do! At the time, Us Weekly reported that two really hit it off. "Austin and Justin have met before and they really respect each other's music," a source said.

Mahone is signed to Cash Money Records, which is owned by Birdman. "Justin happened to be in the same studio with Birdman," the source continued. Mahone was reportedly in the same studio recording a song Bieber wrote and the rest is musical history.

Despite Mahone's more somber tweets, the Mmm Yeah singer is off to Atlanta tonight to throw out the first pitch at the Braves game and perform as part of their concert series.
