TLC's controversial show Sister Wives is set to premiere its fifth season in just a few days, and the drama surrounding one of the most famous polygamous families is set to only become more intense as the family continues to struggle.

Kody Brown, his four wives and their children will be picking up where they left things off, one week after their panicked move from Utah. According to a press release for the show, which TLC released in May, the family's financial struggles will be a big focus, as will their personal struggles.

"This season, tensions are high as the family tries to lock in investors for their fledgling jewelry business. With four mortgages and three kids already in college (with more following fast), pressure to make money is at an all-time high. Robyn is so overwhelmed with the workload, she gives Kody an ultimatum. While the family stresses over business plans and pitch meetings, Janelle faces a crisis of faith in her ability to keep losing weight. Later in the season, we catch up with the Brown kids in college and Meri's plans for the future may just surprise everyone," the statement read.

A clip released by TLC shows just what Meri's plans for the future will entail-plans to enroll in college for herself.

In the clip, she goes to a one-on-one dinner with Cody, and reveals her decision to enroll in classes again by showing him her previous transcripts, and saying she wanted to give them to University of Nevada Las Vegas, so she can continue her studies.

"When we were living in Utah, I had started going to college, and I was really enjoying it. It was very fulfilling to me. I ended up working at a residential treatment center for at-risk youth, and I loved it," she says in the clip. "I ended up losing that job because of my lifestyle, because of going public, because of an investigation, so I never went back to college after that."

Luckily for Meri, Kody supports her decision to go back to school, though it could result in more drama with fellow wife Robyn.

Sister Wives season 5 premieres Sunday, June 8 at 9 p.m. on TLC.
