Katey Sagal, known for television roles on Married With Children and, most recently, the biker-drama Sons of Anarchy, has joined the Pitch Perfect 2 cast.

Pitch Perfect 2 and Other Universal Sequels

Sagal is one of the two latest additions to the Pitch Perfect sequel. The other is Hailee Steinfeld, of True Grit and Ender's Game fame. The film is being directed by actress Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Man on a Ledge) and will mark her directorial début.

According to a recent interview with Howard Stern, Sagal's career in music and entertainment started early. Her father was a television director and Sagal often visited different sets with him. She even met Elvis Presley when she was twelve when her father was directing him.

Pitch Perfect 2 Cast 

A fan of The Rolling Stones and ex-girlfriend of Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, Pitch Perfect 2 will be a very different kind of picture for Sagal.

It is unconfirmed as to whether or not the actress will sing in the film, though she does have a history as a back-up singer, performing with legends like Bob Dylan. She has even admitted that as a child she wanted to be a singer-songwriter.

Segal got into acting at the insistence of her father, who at the time wanted her to have benefits by getting a union card.

She stuck with it though and in recently nabbing a role in Pitch Perfect 2, will have an opportunity to combine her interest in acting and music.
