As Arrow recently wrapped its second season, Katie Cassidy, who plays Laurel spoke about what fans can expect from the next season of the show.

Stephen Amell Dishes On Future Of Oliver And Felicity's Relationship?

Cassidy, particularly addressed a question relating to Oliver and Laurel's relationship in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

As season 2 of Arrow recently wrapped, and Sara (Caity Lotz) handed over her leather jacket which signified her superpower costume to her sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy) in the finale, it signalled at Laurel playing the Canary now.

When asked if her new avatar as Canary was going to affect her relationship with Oliver, the actress revealed that it would only make them come closer.

"I think that she really embraced the fact that he's the Arrow, and it made her love him so much more and it made sense going with the comics that she becomes this Canary, because Canary and Arrow are together," she said. "We'll see though. You never know what the writers are going to write."

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on CW.
