Gabe Suspends Catherine To 'Force Vincent Out Of Hiding'?

Speaking to TVLine, the actress who plays Catherine on the CW show suggested that things were going to go a bit out of control as Vincent (Jay Ryan) will become a dangerous beast when put behind bars. While talking about his arrest, Kreuk revealed that in the upcoming episodes the crew will meet new people who will be complicit in "influencing things" and wrongfully incriminating Vincent.

When asked about the enemy, she said fans wouldn't find that out in the premiere episode but will be surprised as fresh elements are introduced in the later episodes.

J.T. And Tess Hook Up & Cat Tries To Stop Vin From 'Beasting Out'?

"We don't know by the end of this episode who the person is specifically, but we know that there is someone behind it all," she said. "It takes a little while for them to figure out the ins and outs of it, and in the arc of upcoming episodes there's a bunch of new people that we meet that we realize are influencing things."

Here's the official synopsis of the next episode, titled Cold Case:

"Cat's (Kristin Kreuk) sister Heather (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) drops by for a surprise visit at the worst possible time, just as Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) suspends Cat and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) from the squad in an effort to force Vincent (Jay Ryan) out of hiding. Austin Basis also stars. Rich Newey directed the episode written by John A. Norris and Eric Tuchman (#219)."

Recently, much to the relief of Beasties, the CW announced that the show will be renewed for another season.

The remaining half of season 2 will premiered on The CW on June 2.
