The newest singing competition show, ABC's Rising Star, promises to be extremely different from the rest, giving viewers a much more satisfying experience.

The show, which will premiere on the network on June 22, will feature hopefuls that want to have a chance to become famous singers performing live for viewer votes. As viewers vote for them, a wall that sits in front of the singer is raised. When a competitor has enough votes, the wall goes all the way up, meaning they have moved on to the next round.

In a new promo for the show, the panel of experts, which includes actor/rapper Ludacris, pop star Ke$ha, and country music star Brad Paisley, and host Josh Groban, explain how the show works, emphasizing that they are not judges, meaning the fate of the show's competitors is entirely up to the fans.

"We're not the judges," Ludacris says in the preview.

"You are." Ke$ha adds.

Those who want to participate with the show can download an app (Rising Star ABC is the name), and vote in real time during the show by swiping right to vote yes for a competitor, and swiping left to vote no.

The show also promises that the fans will get instant satisfaction because results are determined on-the-spot, instead of days or weeks later, like other shows.

"You know those other shows where you've got to wait for results?" Ludacris says. "And the judges make all the decisions? Yeah, well, we flipped that. I'm talking about instant gratification."

"We all want it," Paisley adds, before Ke$ha also chimes in with "We all crave it."

"But with this show, you gonna get it," Ludacris finishes.

Rising Star premieres Sunday, June 22 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
