Game Of Thrones Season 4 Finale The Best Episode Of The Series Ever?

Assuming the series adapts the books faithfully, Stannis Baratheon, played by Stephan Dillane, will save Jon Snow (Kit Harington) over at The Wall while Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) will kill his father, Tywin (Charles Dance) while he's on the toilet.

For those who can't wait until Sunday, there's this little descriptive gem written by Martin about what Tyrion thought after killing his own father: "But the stink that filled the privy gave ample evidence that the oft-repeated jape about his father was just another lie. Lord Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, sh*t gold."

Meanwhile, Martin says he wishes producers could extend the season in order to add more scenes in the episodes that can both add "texture" and better establish character relationships on theshow.

"I wish we had more episodes," Martin said of the season in a new interview. "I'd love to have 13 episodes. With 13 episodes, we could include smaller scenes that we had to cut, scenes that make the story deeper and richer."
