Another face will officially say goodbye to Salem as one character heads off to a life in prison following a confession for murder on Days of Our Lives.

Gabi Confesses To Nick's Murder

Gabi (Camila Banus) will say her tearful goodbyes to her brother, Rafe (Galen Gering) daughter Arianna, and roommates Will (Guy Wilson) and Sonny (Freddie Smith), before she heads to jail to serve her sentence for shooting and killing Nick.

Gabi had a long struggle with Nick, including a volatile relationship that resulted in her nearly killing him once before when he tried raping her. Alongside Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Kate (Lauren Koslow), she managed to knock him unconscious and throw him in the river to drown -- assuming it had worked. He returned a few short months later, however, and appeared to be convincing Gabi to fall for him again by getting her to agree to leave town and take her daughter with her. Finally, Gabi revealed she wasn't really falling for his manipulations, and shot him so she could finally be free.  But now, despite the history with Nick, she must pay for her crimes.

Gabi's Second Confession Implicates Sami and Kate?

The character will be exiting the series due to Banus' decision to leave the show.

Meanwhile, the battle for Brady (Eric Martsolff) will continue, as his family keeps trying to separate the recovering addict and Theresa (Jen Lilley) the temptress. All of John's (Drake Hogestyn) attempts to keep them apart have backfired, including an offer to send Theresa halfway across the world for work, and now, Victor (John Aniston) will take things into his own hands by paying Theresa a visit.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
