In an interview with Slash Film Michael Bay dished about the robots in this chapter, particularly speaking about Hound.

"We're trying to do a lot of different stuff," he said. "This is not as different, but there's a really funny character, this guy who's fighting in here, he's called Hound. He drips bullets. He's literally got every gun known to mankind. He's grizzled. He'll fight when you tell him to fight, and he's fighting down to the very, very, very last round of every gun, all the way down to a little Swiss Army knife He's a really funny character. Earlier this year, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bay spoke about Lockdown. The publication revealed that Lockdown cannot be boxed and defined, as it is neither completely an autobot or decepticon. Lockdown will be able to transform in a Lambhorgini Aventador.

"Lockdown is an interesting character. He travels the galaxy, he works for somebody else. And he's here for one person, one alien, and then he's out of here," Bay said. "So he doesn't really want to take sides. The cause and balance of the galaxy is kind of messed up when different species play with different species. And that opens up a whole other gigantic world for Transformers."

Jack Reynor and Mark Wahlberg are the male leads of the film. Reynor will be playing Shane Dyson, a race car driver. Peltz acts as Reynor's girlfriend, Tessa Yeager, and Wahlberg will portray Peltz's dad, Cade Yaeger. Kelsey Grammer will be playing the role of Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence agent who is the main antagonist in the film.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will release on Jun. 27 2014.
