Justin Bieber Has Speed Fever
After being pulled over for driving at speeds in excess of 100mph, pop sensation Justin Bieber dialed 911 to report five aggressive paparazzi who he claims continued to aggressively pursue him in a high speed chase.
Bieber's claims were supported by an unorthodox witness, Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine. Zine phoned the authorities after he saw the singer's blinged-out chrome Fisker Karma being trailed by five or six other vehicles.
According to the call records, Justin explains to the 911 dispatcher, "I have like 5 cars following me." He then continued by saying that "they are driving really reckless."
He stated that "Bieber was driving like a maniac. He was weaving in and out of traffic. There was hardly any space between cars as he weaved from lane to lane."
When the dispatcher asked for the "Never Say Never" singer's name, the star-studded teen comedically replied "ummm, Johnson." Once the operator requested that the self-proclaimed Mr. Johnson describe his automobile, the Biebs responded with "A Fisker."
The operator continued by inquiring if Bieber was the same person who was previously stopped on LA's 101 freeway. He then went on the defense explaining "they're the ones that are driving recklessly right now, I'm just trying to like not have them be on my tail right now. Before I was driving fast so I could get away from them and got pulled over myself."
Bieber has been no stranger to the public eye. He faced a publicity nightmare when allegations arose in late 2011 that he had a love child with 19-year-old Mariah Yeater. Fortunately, he caught a break when the results turned out negative.
As of late, rumors are swirling that his relationship to Selena Gomez may indeed be on the rocks as they do the on-again, off-again tango.
