Murphy and Shanna Moakler made an appearance on Access Hollywood earlier this week to speak on the controversial comment.

Murphy said, "It's still sticky with some of the girls. I've known Jessica for years and I know she's not racist. But it was so ignorant what she said. She put both feet in her mouth. And there was really no excuse for it. But I have to say, it's a little awkward right now. Because two of the girls are just not having it."

Moakler, who was the one who revealed Canseco's comment to the other ladies in a hot tempered episode of the VH1 series, also spoke out and confessed that she does not believe that Canseco is racist.

"I don't think Jessica is a racist by any means. I think if anything, I think sometimes she gets a little insecure around the other ladies. They have very strong personalities and I thinks he was a little intimidated."

While Murphy defended her comments, she made it clear that it was offensive. Moakler also broke down how the text conversation took place. She said that she was asking Canseco about the other girls as a new woman on the cast and Canseco's response was that "Black and White girls don't mesh."

The ladies also weighed in on Canseco's refusal to apologize.
