There has been lots of hype surrounding the upcoming VH1 series, Atlanta Exes and the ex-wife of R&B crooner, Usher, revealed that she almost walked away from the show.

Atlanta Exes Cast Details

Tameka Raymond opened up about her experience with reality television to Madame Noire in an article published Monday. In doing so, she told the site she almost quit and implied that cast members will definitely spark some drama.

"I definitely contemplated quitting the show. I never did quit, but I did think about it. I got mad and at the end of the day I don't want to be involved with asinine or petty arguments, he say-she say that kind of stuff. If it seems like we're having debates over foolishness or something seems silly I try to run from it."

She added that having heated moments with other women on the show was a given considering they had to be so close to each other in instances that they normally wouldn't speak.

"You're dealing with women and different personalities so you're going to have your occasional spat here and there, but that's how it is in life. You're not going to hang out with a couple of girls for months on end and not have disagreements. That's not even realistic."

Raymond, who was married to the DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love singer from 2007-2009, also said that her ex-husband isn't trying to interfere with her new gig.

"He's supportive. He didn't say anything negative about it. he didn't say anything that I know of. He didn't say that he didn't want me to do it - not that he could - but I'd like to think he's supportive of it."

Raymond and Usher also have two sons, Naviyd Ely and Usher Raymond V.

Atlanta Exes, which is a spinoff of the successful Hollywood Exes, also stars Kevin Hart's ex-wife, Torrei Hart, Ne-Yo's ex-fiancé Monyetta Shaw, Christina Johnson- the ex-wife of Fool For You singer Cee-Lo Green and Sheree Buchanan, ex-wife of Ray Buchanan.

The series debuts on VH1 later this year.
