Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal team is set to play Ghana in the World Cup on Thursday, June 25. But, will Ronaldo's girlfriend Irina Shayk be there to cheer him on?
Portugal will play Ghana after tying the United States in last Sunday's heart-wrenching game. "Maybe we are an average team," Ronaldo said after the game. '"It would be a lie to say that we are a top team. We have a very limited team and we are not at the best level. This does not enable you to beat top teams. There are no miracles. We knew we would have a tough group, with perhaps teams better than us. I am not a hypocrite - I never thought we could be world champions, we have to be humble and know our level."
In order to advance, Portugal must defeat Ghana and have Germany win against the United States.
With all of this online, many are asking if Shayk will be supporting Ronaldo down in Brazil. The Sports Illustrated supermodel reportedly watched Sunday's game from New York City. On June 24, Shayk posted a photo on Facebook with caption "Fun day in la."
Ronaldo and Shayk started dating in 2010. Although Shayk has supported her boyfriend at a lot of events, back then the model revealed to GQ she wasn't such a fan of his sport. She said, "I'm not a fan of soccer, for sure not." The two reportedly met through mutual modeling work with Armani Exchange.
