Professional gymnast McKayla Maroney added a new image to her Instagram page that shows a slightly more unique style from how she's presented in a majority of her other photos.

The picture that was posted on Saturday shows the gymnast in a selfie as she wears a lacy black top and a pair of blue sunglasses. Her shades hang down her face, showing her eyes as her dark hair covers one of them.

While Maroney is known for posting images of her face on Instagram, most of them tend to show off her complexion while others show her in fancy attire. Before this photo was added, she posted one of herself in three shots as she gives the same pose in each one. She has her sunglasses on her head as she takes a picture with her phone. She adds on a black dress with high heels and a purse as she gives the peace sign.

This could be the same dress in her other picture since they both have similar material.

Most of Maroney's pictures show off her elegant style, which is likely a reason why she has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram. She's also famous for her 'not impressed' look where she squints her mouth, something she did not assume would be a big deal.

"I wasn't expecting two seconds of me on the medal stand to go viral after the Olympics," she told ESPN. "I came back to my room after the medal ceremony, and my dad said this picture of me doing a face I don't even remember making is blowing up."
