Bollywood star Katrina Kaif might still have some sort of emotional connection with her ex Salman Khan after a reported dispute took place on the set of her upcoming film.
Are Film Directors Ignoring Katrina Kaif?
On Saturday, Hindustan Times reported that Kaif was filming for Bang Bang at Filmcity where protesters showed up to fight against make-up artist Daniel Bauer's involvement with the film.
"They arrived around 2 pm, and kept protesting till 5 pm," a source said.
While Bauer has supposedly worked for magazines and pictures, the protesters were apparently not supportive of him working in a movie.
According to the association's secretary, Bauer needs to be registered to work on films in Mumbai, and this was something that Kaif did not know about. She allegedly agreed to use a registered number until Bauer was registered.
As for how Salman Khan managed to get involved, the site said that Kaif called him to explain the situation.
"Soon after, someone from Salman's team called the association to resolve the matter," the source said.
It sounds like Kaif's call may have been strictly professional, which would make sense since she's been rumored to be dating actor Ranbir Kapoor. He recently revealed that he will be more upfront on his relationship status once it gets to a different level, published by Indian Express.
"Who I am moving in with and who I am staying with, who I'm not staying with I would like to keep it personal because I'm unmarried," Kapoor said. "The day I get married I will openly speak about it."
