Their lifestyle nearly broke up their large family, but the parents on TLC's Sister Wives may be realizing they are going to be the last ones living in a polygamous marriage, as their children are generally refusing to follow in their footsteps.
On the most recent episode of the popular reality program, the four Brown teens-Logan, 19 (Kody's son with Janelle), Aspyn, 18 (Kody's daughter with Christine), Madison, 17 (Kody's daughter with Janelle) and Mykelti, 17 (Kody's daughter with Christine)-all expressed their views on the lifestyle, and largely admitted that it wasn't necessarily for them.
Logan, who is currently a college sophomore, even admitted in the episode that he doesn't believe in his parents' ultra-conservative pre-marital no kissing or hand-holding rules, saying he has broken them before.
"I don't feel like it's wrong-I'm more liberal than my dad," he said.
Logan and Aspyn are the only two of the teens who believe the door for polygamy could still be open in their futures-but they don't necessarily believe it's what they'll go for.
Aspyn even said she has wavered on her decision several times, but doesn't know how much she wants to marry at all.
"I really want children, but I don't want to get married now," she said.
The one kid who absolutely refuses to ever have a polygamist marriage, and absolutely denies her parents' rules of courting, happens to be Madison, a.k.a. Maddie.
"Our parents believe that you shouldn't hug, or hold hands, or kiss," she says in a clip from the episode. "But I think if you're like...into the guy, then it's okay to kiss him."
She continues to say that polygamy just isn't for her, and it's something she thinks her parents have come to terms with.
"I am not going to be a polygamist. I think my dad is sad that I won't be a polygamist, but I think he's also come to realize that it's just not going to happen," she said.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC. Watch Maddie's views on polygamy and dating below.
