It's a wrap on Universal's Pitch Perfect 2, or at least for Adam DeVine it is.

Director Elizabeth Banks posted some more photos to her website directly from the set, the most recent of which bid farewell to DeVine's character as the actor completed his scenes. "This guy. What's not to love?" wrote Banks, "Adam's Last Day. Big Hat". In the picture Banks is wearing a massive sunhat, her arms draped fondly over the shoulders of a modestly smiling DeVine as the pair stand outside.

DeVine is one of the actors from the original film Pitch Perfect, playing the character of Bumper. In the movie, Bumper sang for the a cappella group Treblemakers.

Pitch Perfect 2 Might Eclipse The Original

Word that DeVine would be reprising his role for the Pitch Perfect sequel came in early May. As noted by Vulture, his character went off to sing back up vocals for John Mayer during the first film.

Rumor is that the career move was not necessarily a success, and for the second film he has returned to the Treblemakers yet again to cause conflict for the college's female a cappella counterpart.

Considering the announcement of DeVine's involvement was made only two months ago and that he has already completed work on the film, chances are fans won't be seeing much of him in the sequel. That being said, it doesn't take much screen time in a movie like this to leave an impression.

Pitch Perfect 2 is scheduled to hit theatres Spring 2015.
