While True Blood is airing its final season, there is more good news for the cast. "Werewolf" Joe Manganiello has just been named People magazine's hottest bachelor.

The 37-year-old, who plays Alcide on the hit HBO show, nabbed the hottest bachelor honor ahead of hot men such as Zac Efron, Taye Diggs and even Ryan Gosling.

"I am part Sicilian," Manganiello told the magazine. "I am passionate. I am a hot-blooded person. If you don't like spicy, then maybe I'm not for you."

After the big announcement, Manganiello tweeted "THANK YOU @peoplemag!!!"

Manganiello revealed in March that he was single after splitting with his most recent girlfriend Bridget Peters.

"I think the crazy love that you fall into in the beginning turns into 'like' and 'need.' Chris Rock told me that," Manganiello said about what he's looking for in love. "He's like, 'Kid, you wanna get married? Listen, there's love, and you can feel love the first night, but that's not what it is. It's, 'I like you and I need you.'"

Although he has no significant other in his life currently, Manganiello is staying busy with True Blood's final season and his new documentary Le Bare, which he directed. Manganiello is also scheduled to reprise his role in the upcoming Magic Mike sequel.

True Blood airs on HBO at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday nights.
