Nashville creator Callie Khouri revealed some details about the opening episode of the third season, which ought to be entertaining for the viewers as well as listeners.

There Will Be More To Learn About Juliette?

On Thursday, Radio Times announced that the first episode of the third season will feature live performances from the cast, and will be broadcast live from the show's set. Khouri is apparently hoping that these live scenes will express how musically talented the actors are.

"We want people to know what it's really like," she said. "The live music here is such a huge presence in our show that we thought maybe we could find a way to share with the world what that feels like for real."

Is Avery Unable To Forgive Juliette?

Khouri is aware that these scenes won't be simple, but she's willing to tackle the challenge.

"It's a huge thing to take on, but I think we're up for it," she said. "Barring some technical, possibly weather-related problem, I think it's a fun thing to try and do. We're always looking for new ways to challenge ourselves and just thought this would be really great."

As for how the story will go, Aubrey Peeples (Layla) dished to Glamour that she hopes her character will find some romance with Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson).

"I think that would be so fun. He's a lovely person," the actress said. "I'm really hoping she takes a step back and looks at herself. She struggles with writing music, and I feel like she's gone through so much this season that maybe she'll go through a transformation with her music."

Nashville Season 3 is expected to premiere this fall on ABC.
