Former Emblem3 member Drew Chadwick revealed some more details on where his future in music is going now that he's a solo man.

Drew Chadwick Opens Up On His 'Calling'

On Thursday, Hollywire TV posted an interview with the songwriter who mentioned the relationship he wants to have with his audience, and how he doesn't want there to be any nervous tension.

"I just want to be able to express myself truthfully with my art," Chadwick said. "And as long as I have that and have a strong connection with the audience, which I don't even necessarily want to call fans or anything like that. I want it to all be one experience rather than, you know, them and me. It's like we're all there together."

The singer also went on about how his future music doesn't have a specific genre, which ought to do well for him.

"I want to be, like, formless, like water, and not really have a clear definition," he said. "I think that that's cool because that leaves room for, like, unlimited possibilities."

Chadwick then revealed when his next single is going to be available as well as some other teases.

"I'm going to drop my first single in fall," he said. "It's already in production. And we actually might have this huge collaboration that everyone's going to be like, 'What?!' with a pretty big producer that you guys are familiar with."

It looks like fans will have to wait until the fall to find out who that producer will be.
