As fans wait for Phaedra Parks' next move now that her husband was sentenced to eight years in federal prison, outspoken television personality Wendy Williams is sharing her candid advice.

Find Out Why Apollo Nida Slammed Peter Thomas Just Before Sentencing

She said on her hit talk show Wednesday, "Eight years is a long time. Somebody needs a divorce. I am not that ride-or-die. In Georgia, there's this rule that says if your spouse goes to jail for more than two years, you can get an automatic divorce."

Parks seems to be heading in that direction considering she was a no-show when Nida was handed the sentence Tuesday. On top of that, just days before his sentence, rather then spending time with her family, she partied in Cancun with friends for singer Fantasia Burrino's birthday.

But Parks' actions aren't the only reason Williams believes the couple should call it quits. She added that Nida's jail stint could be a negative influence on their two sons, Ayden and Dylan.

"What kind of legacy is Apollo leaving his boys? I'd be cordial and a good co-parent. I understand if you think Apollo's a nice looking man, and every woman - to some extent - likes a bad boy. Some like them bad - like right out jail - and I get that too," Williams said, referencing Nida's criminal past. He served time from 2004-2009 just before he and Parks tied the knot.

"At what point did you decide to marry him as opposed to just have him as a little bad boy drive-by?"

Williams went on to slam Nida for committing the federal crime, which included identity theft, considering he had lots of other options for income. He and Parks released Donkey Booty workout DVD and he owns his own health company, Nida Fitness.

"Something should have made you, Apollo, want to do better. That takes some kind of smarts, Apollo. Why couldn't you apply that to night school and get a trade? He had five years to go to trade school - learn to be a welder or something - to get his life together."
