The highly anticipated Batman prequel, “The Dark Knight Rises” will hit theaters next week. With the hype fever-high in the run-up to the opening on July 20, Warner Brothers has released new Batman clips and a trailer for the movie.

Earlier this week, critics have attended the advance screening of the Batman movie, with some giving their feedback via Twitter.

One reviewer was so impressed with the preview that she deemed it an Oscar-worthy picture. "The Dark Knight Rises has just finished screening for the press and critics, receiving a STANDING OVATION!!!" wrote YouTube reviewer Lauren Hiestand.

"Wow quite speechless at the moment ... It was everything I wanted it to be," wrote Vince Peluso on Facebook. "Some fans will find certain aspects controversial, but in my eyes everything in the film fit the overall scheme of this installment and the series in general, and Nolan really couldn't have made it any more epic."

Many are predicting that the prequel will break box office records, running past “The Avengers” and “The Amazing Spiderman”.
The Dark Knight Rises is the uber anticipated third installment to the latest Batman series. This film follows the 2008 film, The Dark Knight, in which Heath Ledger played The Joker along side Christian Bale as the leading hero. Ledger's performance as the diabolical villain was so captivating that he became one of few posthumous Academy-Award winning actors for a supporting role.
