Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) thought she was in love for the first time in her life, but Oliver (Zack Conroy) revealing his initial true intentions to her has completely broken her heart on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Aly Realizes Oliver Isn't Her 'Knight In Shining Armor?'

The young Forrester ended things with her photographer beau after he came clean about initially only dating her for the job security her name gave him, and now, she will find herself once again seeking out the advice of her dead mother, Darla (Schae Harrison), as she figures out how to handle her first genuinely broken heart.

"He pretended he liked me, and all he wanted was to keep his job," she says to her mother's ghost in a preview clip for the Wednesday, July 16 episode.

Ridge Can't Remember Being Engaged To Katie?

It's unclear what Darla will say to her daughter, or if she'll encourage her to forgive Oliver because his feelings had since developed into something very real-but even words from her mother telling her to never let him back in won't keep Oliver from trying to win her back.

However, as he prepares to make a grand gesture, the also recently-dumped Maya (Karla Mosley) will try and talk him out of it, insisting there is no way his plan will work.

"Aly's young, but she's not foolish. She will never forgive you again," she tells Oliver.

Meanwhile, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is struggling to put the pieces back together regarding his accident in Abu Dhabi, and he has recognized Justin (Aaron D. Spears) and the Spencer Publications logo in his flashbacks, though he still can't figure out why they're present there. But his ability to begin piecing together the things that happened has Justin sufficiently spooked-and enough so that he will warn Bill (Don Diamont) that they need to act to keep their role from being revealed.

"If he starts to put the pieces of the puzzle together, it leads to you, and it leads it to me, and we have to do something about that," he says to Bill in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
