Production for Universal's Pitch Perfect 2 continues this month and first-time-director Elizabeth Banks (People Like Us, The Hunger Games) certainly isn't short on enthusiasm.

'Pitch Perfect 2' Director Continues 'Bring Back Our Girls' Campaign

The actress and director, who also happened to create the original Pitch Perfect film as well as the sequel, continued to post behind-the-scenes picks on her website yesterday with a photo of her and actresses Hana Mae Lee and Katee Sackoff .

"Is it just me or does this lighting make us look angelic?" wrote Banks below the photograph, in which the trio stood inside what looks to be a bar or restaurant bathed in a gentle blue light. Each is smiling innocently, with Banks looking up in an angel-like pose.

Behind-The-Scenes Pics From 'Pitch Perfect 2'

Later that day the director reposted a link to her site on Twitter with the caption, "Taking a break to appreciate a good photo opp with @hanamaelee and @kateesackoff".

The lighthearted pic comes just days after Banks utilized social media to remind fans and followers that Monday marked the three-month anniversary of the kidnapping of 300 Nigerian schoolgirls. Banks asked her co-stars to stand with her in photographs holding signs which read "Bring Back Our Girls". The actress stated that it is important to remember that many of these girls have not been found yet, and the fight for their safe return is not over.

While Banks created the original Pitch Perfect, the sequel will be her directorial debut. The film follows a group of girls in a college singing group as they compete for a cappella gold.

Pitch Perfect 2 is scheduled to hit theatres in Spring 2015.
