The four-time Grammy Award winner, who is married to actress Nicole Kidman (Stoker, Grace of Monaco), admitted that being out on the road doesn't deter him from spending time with his family. "If I'm out for a little longer than a few days then they go out on the road, all the girls do," he explained of his daughters. His eldest daughter just turned six earlier this month.

Urban and Kidman have been married since 2006, though it is uncertain as to whether his reference to "all the girls" includes his wife. The two have recently faced divorce speculation, though neither have confirmed the claims which have existed as rumors over the last few years.

When asked about the first gutair Urban ever had, the performer did not hesitate in giving his answer. "First guitar I ever had was a Suzuki acoustic guitar," he continued, "and it was like a three quarter size because I was six when I started playing".

"You're all grown up now," said ABC's Robin Roberts. Urban's reply was playful, earnest and brief. "I'm working on it," he said.

Urban will return as a judge for Fox's American Idol this year. The first stage of auditions begins in Nashville next month.
