Savannah James Hints Family's Move Back Ohio Weeks Before LeBron's Decision

Many assumed James was making his way back to Ohio so his pregnant wife, Savannah James, could be closer to home as she prepares to give birth.

Pat Riley Confirms Savannah James Pregnant With Baby Girl

Dan Le Batard said, "One thing that surprised me, and I heard it from a number of places, is that LeBron's wife and LeBron's mom didn't want to actually go. When he was talking about going back and telling Pat Riley that he needed to talk to his family, he was talking about La Familia- the group of guys around him...I've heard in too many places that Savannah actually didn't want to go."

Savannah hinted that the family was heading back to their stomping grounds weeks before LeBron actually confirmed his decision to leave the Miami Heat. She kicked off a count down to the time she would be returning home, causing many to speculate if she was talking about vacation or hinting that the family would make their way back to Ohio.

Still, in his Sports Illustrated essay in which he announced his choice to resign with the Cavaliers and even finish his career there, LeBron confessed that he knew for quite some time that he would be going back.

Savannah is currently pregnant with the couple's third child. It is a baby girl.
