Elizabeth Banks is enjoying her first directorial gig, sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes material for Universal's Pitch Perfect 2.

Elizabeth Banks Enlists 'Pitch Perfect 2' Cast In Human Rights Message

Banks (People Like Us, The Hunger Games) who created Pitch Perfect and the upcoming sequel, posted a new set photo on her website this week teasing a new scene.

"Just a Bella driving into the wild green yonder," wrote Banks, adding playfully, "I wonder what this scene could be..."

More 'Pitch Perfect 2' Photos From The Set

Above the caption the actress-turned-director posted a photograph from the backseat of a car set in front of a green screen, which makes the context of the scene impossible to determine until the background is edited in.

A blue "Bellas" jacket sat draped over the back of driver's seat with a brunette actress seated in front of it. While the girl's face is not shown, her striped shirt is visible and the partial image of her face in the rearview mirror suggests that it is newcomer Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Ender's Game), who portrays one of the few debuting characters in the film. Most of the sequel's cast is comprised of originals actresses and actors from the first movie.

Pitch Perfect 2 follows the Bellas, a group of female college students striving for a cappella gold against fierce competition. Steinfeld will be playing a new addition to the group and was quickly welcomed into the cast. Some of Banks early cast photos include Steinfeld laughing with some of the veteran cast members, rehearsing dance routines and laughing on set during group photos.

Pitch Perfect 2 is scheduled to hit theatres Spring 2015.
