Sleepy Hollow is a show that has grown a devoted fan base through its willingness to be completely bonkers and off the wall, as any show featuring a time traveling Ichabod Crane and a headless horseman who knew George Washington should be.

New Sheriff In Sleepy Hollow Season 2

When the first season ended, a lot of stuff was still hanging up in the air, leaving the second season in a precarious situation. On Monday, Entertainment Weekly reported on what show producer Robert Orci had to say about where the second season picks up the action.

In essence, things pick up right where they left off, which is to say with things a total mess and all the good guys in peril. Abbie, the female lead played by Nicole Beharie, is trapped in a dollhouse from her childhood in some sort of purgatory. He then mentioned that this is a "kickoff point" for finding out more about Abbie and Jenny's mother.

Sneak Peek At Thanksgiving Episode Of Sleepy Hollow.

Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane is trapped in a coffin, the same coffin that his son Henry Parrish, as played by out there FOX drama veteran John Noble, was in for years. Oh, also Henry is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Meanwhile, police chief Frank Irving, played by Orlando Jones, is being held for murders that were, naturally, committed by a demonically possessed girl.

Orci says that these characters can't really help one another out, and have to figure things out for themselves, and then hinted that perhaps some of them do not. It sounds like the same old Sleepy Hollow, which should make its fans happy when it returns for an 18 episode second season on September 22 on FOX.
