With Marvel dominating the news after Comic-Con and the release of Guardians of the Galaxy, it seems like the future is on everyones minds. One of those future projects got an update from one of the stars while making the rounds at Comic-Con.

'Thor 3' Rumors: Could Tony Stark Play A Part In The Franchise's Third Installment?

Chris Hemsworth was in San Diego doing press for the upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and spoke with both ScreenRant and Collider about the next Thor movie and when it will land.

Speaking with ScreenRant, Hemsworth seemed sure that they would be making another movie but wasn't sure when it would happen.

Uncertain Future & Lack Of Director Leads To Possible Delay To 2018 For 'Thor 3'

"I hope we're doing another one. I think we're doing another one," Hemsworth said. "I don't know anything official as of yet, but I'm looking forward to it."

Talking with Collider, Hemsworth also seemed to mention that the film would be a way off and maybe not at the expected 2017 release date.

"I don't think it's just yet, 'Thor 3.' It's another - a ways away," Hemsworth said.

Hemsworth's comments seem to say that Thor 3 is still up in the air at Marvel and their schedule of release dates that go up to the year 2019. Right now, Hemsworth has a solidly busy schedule as he has to begin work on The Huntsman, which is now a franchise he will be leading.

For now, Thor 3 will probably still make its way into theaters in either 2017 or early 2018 especially depending on how audiences respond to some of the newer Marvel movies.
