Earlier in Major Crimes' run, Mary McDonnell's Sharon Raydor decided to house Rusty Beck, a kid who is a key witness in an important case, sending him to private school and such.

'Sweet Revenge' Promised In New Major Crimes

However, Raydor has children of her own, and one of them will appear and cause tension in the next episode of Major Crimes. On Friday, TV Line reported on what to expect from the upcoming episode, and also provided an exclusive sneak peek at the story involving Raydor's real son and her surrogate son.

Sharon's son Ricky is being played by guest star Ryan Kennedy, and judging from the clip, he and Rusty don't seem to be getting along great. While this show is a fairly standard crime procedural, this is the chance for Major Crimes to do some character stuff outside the realm of crime. Of course, there will be plenty of thing involving crime and the LAPD in this episode as well, an episode which is entitled "Sweet Revenge."

In addition to the tensions between Ricky and Rusty, the Major Crimes Unit will be seeking information about the murder of a tech-entrepreneur who has questionable morals and maybe mob ties, and also Fritz Howard will be taking over the Special Operations Bureau as well. As such, fans of the show who like both crime solving and family drama, this could be the episode for you.

"Sweet Revenge" will air Monday, August 4 at 9:00 p.m. on TNT. The midseason finale will air the following week.
