Move over Brandy! Keke Palmer is Roger and Hammerstein's newest "Cinderella," and she's coming to Broadway.

Earlier this week, Keke Palmer signed on to play beloved Disney character, Cinderella on Broadway starting Sept. 9. Now, not only is the youngest talk show host ever, she will also be the first black Cinderella to ever perform on Broadway. Not too shabby for someone who is only 20-years-old.

She took to Twitter to express her excitement, and then did the same on Instagram:

As media outlets and fans all over the world began to congratulate Palmer on her newest accomplishment, Sherri Shepherd announced that she would be joining the cast to play "Madame", Keke's evil step-mother on Sept. 9, as well on "The View." Now that Shepherd's officially leaving her post on ABC's panel-discussion program, this is a great time to take on a new gig and to get back to acting on a regular basis.

Though this is not the first time women of color will be involved in a Cinderella production-- as Whoopi Goldberg, Whitney Houston and Brandy Norwood starred in Disney's famed classic movie interpretation-- Palmer and Shepherd will surely make a great addition to the Broadway musical.

Palmer is a bonafide triple threat and has proven this in her various singles, videos, and movie roles time and time again. Broadway will certainly bring on some new challenges, but nothing she can't handle.

Congrats to Keke and Sherri!

Who else would you love to see in this cast?
