Olivia Wilde may not have thought that doing one of the most natural acts as a mother would cause quite a stir in both the media and gossip blogs. In the new issue of Glamour Magazine, the actress can be seen breastfeeding her son Otis in what many people are calling a "buzz-inducing" mom and baby photo.

Olivia Wilde on Jason Sudeikis: "I Really Have Learned A lot From Him"

While wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress and Prada shoes, the Hollywood actress is breastfeeding her naked son in the photo, which was shot in a New York City diner. Wilde says she couldn't imagine being in a photo shoot without her son, as she most identifies herself these days with her role as a new mother.

"Breastfeeding is the most natural thing," Wilde told the magazine in an interview, "I don't know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast."

The actress added, "Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn't complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that."

While many critics are saying that Wilde is "glamorizing" breastfeeding in what looks to be a new Hollywood trend, others are applauding her for the photo and the message that breastfeeding sends.

Still, Wilde admits that her life at home with her newborn son Otis isn't always as picture perfect as it is in photo shoots.

"It felt like we were capturing that multifaceted woman we've been discussing - that we know we can be," Wilde said. "You can be someone who is at once maternal and professional and sexy and self-possessed."

Wilde added, "but I mean, I certainly don't really look like that when I'm typically breastfeeding. And there's usually a diaper involved."
