Convicted killer Joran van der Sloot may get married behind bars. Latest rumors suggest that the 24-year-old Dutchman will get married inside a prison in Peru, where he is currently serving time for murdering 21-year-old Stephany Flores. The young business student was tragically stabbed to death in van der Sloot's hotel room on June 2010.

The convicted murderer has also been one of the prime suspects in relation to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The student, 18, was on a class trip to Aruba back in 2005 when she mysteriously vanished. She was last seen alive outside a nightclub in Aruba with van der Sloot, who was then a 17-year-old student. Her body has never been found and although he remains a prime suspect, van der Sloot has never been charged for her disappearance.

According to Peruvian news website Peru21.pe, van der Sloot's attorney Max Altez said the marriage will take place this year but "declined to comment on the identity of the bride or the wedding date."

Van der Sloot reportedly received multiple marriage offers from women after he was arrested for Flores Ramierz's murder. Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf quoted the murderer as saying, "one of them even wants me to get her pregnant."

He pled guilty to the murder and robbery of Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramierz, who was killed exactly five years after Holloway's disappearance. His arrest was declared the top crime story of 2010 by Time magazine.

Van der Sloot was sentenced to 28 years imprisonment for the murder of Flores on January 13, 2012.
