Pop star Rihanna has discussed opening deals to bid on Liverpool FC, a football (soccer) club located in England.

Reasons Why Eminem & Rihanna's Monster Tour Rocks

The singer has found a great amount of love for the sport and is ready to show her dedication by owning an entire club. Her love for the game might have developed during the recent World Cup that was held over the summer in Brazil. Her Twitter account would often showcase her interest in the international competition, expressing a large amount of love for Germany. She revealed she is friends with striker Miroslav Klose, posting a picture of the two together on twitter as well.

Metro news has reported that Didier Drogba, a striker for Chelsea, advised Rihanna that she should make bids for Liverpool. It is unknown if the current owners are willing to sell the team, but if they do, Rihanna would soar to the top of the football world by owning one of the most well-known teams of the English Premier League.

Rihanna Thinks Eminem Is A 'Real Champion?'

The club, based in Anfield, is currently owned by Fenway Sports Group. The company is the work of John W. Henry, who also owns the Boston Red Sox. Henry told Daily Mail that the reason he bought Liverpool was because Liverpool reminded him of the city of Boston. The cities have similar histories, population, and relevant locations. The deal went down in January of this year.

Rihanna is currently touring six cities with rapper Eminem. The monstrous tour began in Pasadena, Calif. at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
